The Cook County Medical Examiner's Office is hosting a Missing Persons Day in Cook County to help families reconnect with missing loved ones. The event is Saturday, May 18, 2019 from 11am to 3pm at 2121 W. Harrison St, Chicago.

Who should attend:

  • Family and friends of a person missing more than one month

What to expect:

  • This is a free event for the public
  • Enter information into NamUs (national missing and unidentified persons database)
  • Provide DNA samples
  • Connect with counselors and other families
  • You may also report family members missing more than one month if not done previously

What to bring:

  • ID photos of the missing person
  • X-rays, dental records, medical records and other identifying documents
  • Two biologically related family members of the missing person to provide DNA samples
  • Police reports
